really good stay
interesting grounds friendly staff clean room
the hotel had interesting grounds and a very nice wellness center. the staff were friendly, and the room was very clean (which i always appreciate). the breakfast choices were abundant and of high quality.

the location is excellent for walks along the river or exploring the city. it offers convenient access to attractions.

the breakfast was of very high standard with many choices available. the separate gluten-free breakfast section with its own toaster was a thoughtful touch. the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.

the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful throughout my stay. receptionists offered warm smiles and helpful attitudes upon arrival. even the bar staff provided a high level of service.

the spa was calming, with a pleasing scent that enhanced the experience (i think they call it ebrington scent). the thermal spa access was included, a relaxing perk after a day out. the area outside is being developed tastefully.

king bed real king skeleton display midnight closure cold wait hotel door
the king bed was large it seemed like a real king size. the location was great for walking to the festival over the walking bridge. i also enjoyed the massive skeleton display near the hotel before halloween
the hotel locked the doors at midnight that was inconvenient. i had to wait outside in the cold to be let in. i wish they had told me about the midnight closure beforehand

The room had beautiful facilities. It was an excellent size. The spa and wellness center was an amazing bonus. Breakfast was also excellent!!!

mixed feelings About my stay
slow check-in small room
the breakfast was adequate, with a reasonable choice of items.
The room i was assigned was smaller than expected and overlooked a rather unappealing view of a grey wall. the check-in process also took longer than it should have, around 15 minutes, and the keys initially didn't work. after returning to reception for new keys, i found the bar service to be quite slow. Drinks sat on the bar for ten minutes before being served.
